Katrina? oh yeah that other storm... When these things come they don't discriminate. Everyone gets whacked. Insurance companys big and small screw the policy holders. I got screwed. My factory "renters" insurance company vanished the day after the storm. No trace... The big companies are playing a nasty game of fix it first then we'll give you the money. People cant afford to pay up fron so the fix doesn't get done. Other nasty tricks include saying it was flood and not wind or wind and not flood. Just to tie things up. There are still tens of thousands from last year here trying to get justice... Now we have six million more added to the list.

I think it is kinda sick minded on the insurance to start that wind/flood shit...Here people need help NOW not LATER and they want to play their political games with the consumers... I say the american people need to stop being so passive and start speaking up... they did that when Ivan hit here... people are still living in FEMA trailers waiting to get their cases heard in the court system..(don't get me started on the judicial system... it totally sucks!!)I am one who ALWAYS speaks my mind when I see something that is not right... I have gotten fired, had people look at me like I had 3 heads and have lost what I thought were my friends.. and almost put into jail (told off a judge on the jail one..)
We need to get some politicians in office who have a set of iron balls to tell these people what they can do with their threats!!! If only I could have ONE day in office I would clean house quick!!
