The book is wonderful and brutal at the same time. I don't care to see the movie.

There's enough difficult stuff to deal with in real life, I made it a point years ago that I only want movies with a happy ending, or of things getting blown up. I heard this was a tough ending and I think the warning is a good call. I'll be skipping this one, unless they come out with an alternate ending. The Mall Cop movie they've been advertising looks more my speed. Maybe we'll catch that one this weekend.
Saw it also, there must have been a dozen grown men still crying in the restroom after the movie!! BTW, one of them was me!!
Well said, couldn't agree more. Sometimes I sit on the couch with my 3 yr old niece watching scooby and about halfway through I'm asking her what shaggy is talking about. Just can't follow stuff anymore with all the serious stuff going on in life. Talk about feeling like a real idiot. Not following scooby is it!
I'll stick to mall cop, when it comes to my house on PPV of course.
The book was enough to make me think twice about the movie. After seeing this warning and also seeing that "man-*****" Kathleen Turner is in it, I'll definitely stay away.
