Mark Ray... First Class!!!!

Holy mother of all things cool... In our house first home usually gets the mail. Well, sometimes mini is a little slow on delivering everybody elses when its her turn and goes straight to her room. Seems that there was a tube sent some time back addressed to me that was burried behind a stack of teen age stuff. Today it got to my hands...

A tube? Who would send such a thing to me... It was from Mark Ray... Hmmmm!

Sweet jumpin Jehosavat!!! It was a print of a tagged blue one swimming in a school of yellowfins and eyeballing a Masher... I had spotted that when he first posted about it. This guy was so thoughtful of that he sent me a full sized print!!!
Don't get no better than that... Brother Mark thank you from the bottom of my heart... Clearing a prime piece of wall to hang it on!

With out a doubt Deep.
I was honored ti have him on the boat last year, He say a tree on the bank and said that would make a cool picture. He took is a step further and posted how he goes about it from 1 step to another till it was finished, It was very cool.

Mark is the man Deep. He did a painting of a Pelican and the NC flag and I asked if he was going to sell prints of it and He made sure the one I bought was 1 of 500. My mother was thrilled and she can't wait to hang it at the beach house.

While in Morehead City...

Kevin and I stopped in to bother Mark at his shop..Kevin will never forgive me as he maxed out the Angler's Envy Corporate Card..of course I got blamed for it ..for "bringing him into Mark's shop"..

The back of a Black Escalade, got filled pretty quick with original Marlin paintings, Big and Small, Fish Mounts of Marlins..on and on.

Mark was kind enough to donate some Visors for our little get together at Marty's...out of the blue..here take 20 or whatever you need..

Mark is a class act...hard worker and a true gentlemen..besides a fine artisan..with a passion for our sport..

Check out his work..let's not forget those who memorialize what we all dream about..as he can truely put a slice of life to life forever.
