Made It Thru The Storm And A Big Crunch
We lost power yesterday at around 1800 at the height of the storm. The wind was howling, the rain pouring and tide ripping in. Luckily I only had about 18 inches in the garages which was about 2 ft less tha Isabel. I should be able to get it all cleaned up tomorrow and everything put away by Sunday. I took a couple more pictures this morning as the tide was going out. Our power came back on around 1700 tonight. The big crunch was at my parents house where a neighbor had parked their car thinking it would be safer than their own. NOT!! This big oak totaled it. My nephew, sister and I made quick firewood of it. After having lost over 120 trees during Isabel I am pretty proficient with my Stihl chainsaw. My parents neighborhood had several large trees down, a couple of them on houses. Here are some pictures from today. Hope everyone out there made out OK. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]()
