The goop has much more body (you must sit there and build superglue up, even the ' gel' type). The goop handles sooo much better, and will set in about the same time (much faster, counting all the fiddling with the superglue). I never use superglue anymore, it just takes too long. The goop also comes at 1/20th the price of superglue (by volume). I take a tube and just prick a hole in the side so it lays on the table, and press a little every time i glue an eye. after the tube is half used, a perfect (eye sized) drop will pop out every time I press it, so i just scoop it up on the eye, and place (no mess, no excess). The hole scabs over when done, keeping the tube sealed for the next session. All the goops (marine, houshold, whatever) work just as well, as an eye glue before epoxy (or acrylic, if you use it).
If it works for you like it works for me, it should save you over a couple of hours every 90 sets. it works the first time, every time, at 1/20th the cost per oz. of superglue.
Thanks again, for the post. Im already pricing vinyl sheets on ebay. (I just want to make them to save money on bigger, expensive lures, and give to friends)
