Lt. Brendan Looney..a military hero....obituary with open guest book...
10/4/2010.....funeral service 10:30 am....followed by burial @ Arlington National Cemetary....whewww.....going to be a tough day for many ......please take a moment in your day to remember Lt. Looney and say a prayer for his parents.......brothers & sisters......and wife Amy.....and also those in harms way who continue to protect us and enable our freedoms.
a true inspirational leader to many.....a miltary hero who gave his life in protecting our freedoms.

LOONEY LT (SEAL) BRENDAN LOONEY, USN (Age 29) On Tuesday, September 21, 2010 in Afghanistan, of San Diego, CA originally of Owings, MD. Beloved husband of Amy H. Looney; son of Kevin and Maureen Looney; brother of Stephen (Alison), Billy, Bridget, Erin and Kellie; grandson of Joe and Doris Parker. Relatives and friends may call at the DeMatha Catholic High School Gym, 4313 Madison St., Hyattsville, MD 20781 on Sunday, October 3 from 2 to 5 p.m. with reception to follow in the Antler Room from 5 to 8 p.m. Mass of Christian Burial at The Basilica of the National Shrine of the Immaculate Conception, Great Upper Church, 400 Michigan Ave., NE, Washington, DC 20014 on Monday, October 4 at 10:30 a.m. (CHANGE OF MASS LOCATION) Interment to follow at Arlington National Cemetery at 1 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to DeMatha Catholic High School at www.DeMatha.org or Travis Manion Foundation at, www.travismanion.com

a rainy sad Monday begins for many who knew Lt. Brendan Looney
my sad day begins as i am off to the church.....a dreary gloomy rainy day here in Wash DC.....if only the sun could shine as Lt. Brendan Looney is put to rest.....
