Lower Keys boat rentals...

Anyone have any ideas of a good one? I'd rather not run one down from Isla and wonder if anyone here has used one they can reccommend or any to avoid. I'm thinking either a flats boat or a 23ish CC.Thanks...

If your going as far down as Key West call Spencer's Boat Yard,they're good people and have new boats.

If you don't have a place to stay, several places come with boats. A friend highly recommended Capt. Pips in Marathon http://www.captainpips.com/

The rooms come with 20' boats and the price for the room and boat are not much more then just boat rental prices.

I will be staying at Capt. Pips in six weeks.....stay tuned.

They also rent boats.

I second capt pips, real pros. I rented their 25' mako in January, it had a brand new 200 yammy with like 15 hrs on it and fished really well. I wouldn't go with there buy this, get this free boat. They're not too expensive, just get one of their nicer boats.
