Looks like they nailed a couple of fishing equipment thieves. I wonder if the 5k in "fishing equipment" and "electronics" were from any of the thefts reported here. In any event, glad to see they got caught.


Lower Detectives Nab Burglary Suspects
TOWN BANK: (1.8) Lower Township police, after investigating several burglaries, arrested a 19-year-old North Cape May man and a male juvenile.
On Jan. 4, police arrested Daniel Hodgins, 19, of the 500 block Shore Drive, and a local male juvenile, and charged then in connection with several burglaries that involved theft of over $5,000 in electronics and fishing equipment.
Detectives followed up on several crimes, and were able to ascertain the identity of the suspects involved, police reported.
On speaking with the individuals, they admitted their involvement and stated that the items had been sold to a Pleasantville buyer.
Detectives are still investigating in an effort to recover some of the items before they are resold.
Hodgins was arrested and taken to police headquarters. He was released in his own recognizance.
The juvenile was taken into custody and processed prior to being released to his parents.
Both were charged with burglary and theft.
