John, I know you realize the drama is not limited to the Mix It Up board. You chose to let the drama run it's course that results in grown men calling names, using foul language, making threats....your board....your rules. I scan the board from time to time to see if the board is getting better or worse and my future participation depends on how things go and whether you allow these grown men to continue to act like kids.

Funny part is grown men do not need to be caged by rules.

I put rules in place then I am the target of everyone affection.

Im also sorry I read the other forums on this site and I personally see tons of great drama free threads.

Every winter I deal with this same discussion.

Yep guys go back to fishing, they stop pms'ing and the content gets good.
I spent last winter dealing with all this shit.

This winter I am working on projects and things that will make my wallet fat.

Spending time battling grown men only cost me time and money.

Oh ya there is a report button next to every post.
Amazing how little it really is used.

Some people deep down just like the drama....

My comments were directed to whoever authored that letter. I can't say that I am pleased with those who constantly seek to bring political arguments to the site, either. The extent of malicious intend, bigotry and intolerance which has been demonstrated on this FISHING website during this political season was disturbing and hurtful to a lot of good members. We need it to end and get back to fishing content.

i am going to have to totally agree with biscuit here.. you got beef bring it behind the scenes.. you dont like anyone then just ignore them.. i have been in the middle of a lot of chit and i dont think it was good at all.. i am not proud of some of the things that were and continue to be said but it happens when you have so many people with such strong opinions in one spot.

i am thankful that this site is not over moderated like most sites. it is what john calls self moderated and it allows us to be ourselves and agree and disagree.

i also agree that i am not a political man but i also will not be putting up racial slurs and a bunch of bs and i would never bash anyone or bring anyone down.

wether you catch a 2 ounce snapper or a 1500 lb blue marlin you are still passionate for the sport and continue to go day in and day out ot find something bigger and better and we help each other here figure out how the hell we can do it..

john comes across with his views and i totally agree. he has to make a living and he has to do what he has to do.. he can not baby sit grown men.. you think this site runs itself!?

if you could only see ( which i have not seen just heard) about all the people behind the seens that get pay checks along with all dedicated servers and such that he has to buy and run and dedicate time to perfect them so they run as smooth as they do your pants would drop and your wallet would not be so fat..

john offers great content on the site along with some of the top captains, mates, fishermen, and sponsors in the entire world.. not just the us the entire WORLD!!!

he makes his sponsors tons of money i am sure and this is because john is a good business man with a sense of direction. he knows what to do and when to do it. he is not going to sit around and ban people for talking or saying bad things.. if someone puts up a post you dont agree with you should just move on or report it like he stated.

i think we all need to just get out and fish and have the times we have continued to have on this site and just not look back.. the past is the past, wether or not it is archived for the next 500 years if you bring it up to john or jer even if the thread is 2 years old. send them the report and the link and i guarantee it will be taken care of.

now read thru a magazine and learn to tie and know and when you need to get a true answer and hands on description you will come back here.

there is no other site in the entire world that has the content in it that this site does.. if you can find one i will personally buy it.. john and roger and all the crew builds this site with US in their mind.. not them but US!!!!

Man I have not seen or read any good drama on here since Fred was selling his super bars to the east coast boys. Or Raymond was showing box how to catch marlin on circle hooks. Now that was drama. Or another one was Fred trying to tell box how to catch wahoo. And on that note the cracken was set free. I read and read and have a laugh every day. Some of the replies and statements are funny stuff. One for instance... was box and Jake bluefining it in Carolina last year. Now that thread was comical. I guess some of you guys are to serious with tight underwear. Ya know at some point in your lives you need to get a bigger size to be comfortable. The mix it up is for us low life, non fishing, political bashing, racists, non tax paying azzholes who do not know how to tie a fishing knot with our eyes closed. Who only need to ask your permission, or in your guidance, to place a post in there. I wish John or jer would place a pre post forum only to get your solemn approval to do so......
