    Cool Lottery Dream Thread

With all the outrageous lottery winnings lately, it seems that talk around the tackle shop seems to involve discussion of lottery winnings. So, the question is if you won upwards of 100 Million, what would you do??
Would you keep your job, fish 365, party like Charlie Sheen??

Personally, I have some ideas. I like the tackle business and love fishing, so there would be changes, but alot would be the same. But a whole lot more fun
First, all my friends would be along for a fun ride! First priority 2 boats. First, I call my friend John Leek and order up the baddest Ocean Yacht he can make, my Cape May boat. Boat number 2, Bayliss for the southern route.
Next, start looking for new locations to open Off The Hook stores. I'm thinking Outer Banks, West Palm, the Keys, Isla Majeres, and Los Suenos. That should keep us busy
Ahhh, it's nice to dream. Oh well, back to reality just getting a delivery of clams

    Let's here your dream.

    If I won the lottery:

60' Mann or Spencer. Haven't decided yet. Keep that one between Mroehead City and Oregon Inlet

Call up Caison Yachts and have him finish that 38' dayboat he's got waiting in the shed. Keep that one in my home port of Ocean Isle.

Call up Onslow Bay and order one of those new 32' CC's. Keep that one in Ocean Isle too.

Call up yellowfin and get a 17' skiff.

Condos with slips in OI and Morehead, House on the waterway in Ocean Isle Beach with dock and lifts.

I'd become a silent partner in setting my buddy up with an outdoor store in Southport.

Then I'd travel. I'd fish all the billfish and king mackerel tournaments from the Ocean City to Charleston. Travel the rest of the world in teh winter.

    100+ million, lets see.

"Why no sir, i do not think I will be surveying your boat today....." that would be a start.

I would own something comfortable to fish with in the mid atlantic and devote my summer to getting my wife the top lady angler award at the OCMC. I would fish release tourneys for fun. the boat would not have to be huge, just comfortable to fish, we wouldn't go when it was super crappy anyway. i am thinking something like the Agitator (that Ricky boat that jeremy duffie redid).

I would buy a condo at los suenos and plant a redone 31 bertram or something like that over there. Just to keep our skills up during the winter months.....

I would also buy the biggest dung heap of a boat i could find and offer Blaine 150 to 200k a year to maintain it, and maybe let him fish with me on the lil Ricky or whatever it is during the summer. In the winter most of his time would be spent at a do it yourself yard in some ghetto section of florida with a putty knife and a toothbrush cleaning up the dung heap so he would only be brought over to CR for a holiday bonus....

I fiugre 100 mil wouldn't go away to quick with that operation.

    Cool

Thanks Franky, there is now coffee all over the computer!

I forgot the Bayliss would be painted Silver, and I would have engineers design a Kegerator(sp?) that wouldn't foam up the Coors light, name it the Silver Bullet and hire Blaine as the fishing Captain! We would need someone else to get us home

    HMMM,

Lets see. a 33 ft Fountain express. A house on the water near Puerto Jiminez, CR. and a summer house for the wife in the NC mountains and a handful of roundtrip airplane tickets to Costa Rica so she can come and visit if she wants.

    First the Interview when I pick up the check;

    Q. What are you going to do with the money

    A. I'm gonna buy me a double wide and keep my job

    Next:
Walk in to my previous financial institution and wave the check around while saying -" Hey Y'all remember turning down my credit app?"

Third; Commission a boat for the east - Mid 50 Ft - Spencer, Mann, Etc

Fourth; Pick up a 35-45 ft express and get a slip in Kona

    C Ya

Chuck- good thing we both can't hit the same lottery at the same time or there would be a huge bidding war for Blaine....

I wouldnt fish at all. I would buy art. I would fill my home with everything I ever wanted. I would give the rest away, to my friends. After all, you dont throw a party to invite people, you throw a party to exclude people. Thats my kind of Party. I would hand out Million dollar checks at the door.......Now what can I get you to drink? Life is short.
