Looking for rental in Fla Keys

Heading south to Florida the first two weeks of March as we do every year. Have never made it past Everglade City and this time we want to hit the keys. Looking for something Around Marathon or below but if the price is right above will do just fine.

Hoping to find someone who's stayed in this area before and can suggest good priced and decent place to stay. This is our "big vacation" and dont want to get screwed.

    Looking for:
    Second week of March
    Sleeps at least six
    Must have kitchen
Must have a canal or boat ramp (near buy)
Need parking for 3 vehicles one boat trailer
(I can stand my trailer up for space)
we have no pets and only smoke outside
We are not "Party" people and wont trash place

If anyone can help please let me know. Also looking for bait shops and such but thats another thread!

    Marathon rentals

Two years ago We stayed in a duplex wnd had eight people. We stayed a week at Key Colony Beach and the boat ramp is on the main entry and charges $10 to launch but you can leave the boat behind the house on the canal to the ocean. It was a beautiful place with plenty of room for everyone. Also went on the Ocean every day. Lots of fish but no braggers. I don't remember what the cost was but that is subject to change anyway. with the economy the way it is it may even be cheaper now. It is easy to run aground so you have to watch the depth but then I had no trouble. The place we stayed had easy access to the ocean and the gulf.Great snorkling and scuba also. My son has been scuba diving for over twenty years and said that the dive he made off my boat was the best one he ever had at sombrero reef. I hope this is of some help to you. Plenty of bait shops in the area and at the boat ramp. When I first put the boat in I ran through a school of Ballyhoo and didn't think "BAIT" at the time so I bought some at the bait shop. The place even had a bait freezer. WOW! <`)>((((< ED
