    looking for an old british sports car

    ok !! looking for an old british sports car...thinking a triumph tr3 tr4 tr6 ?? mga ??? sunbeam alpine ??? austin healy,big body,no bugeyes...know anybody with one for sale ????

    Maybe I'm telling you something you already know, but unless you are a mechanic and particularly good with electrical systems you might want to stay clear of British sports cars.

    Every one I have ever known that got that itch to own a British car didn't keep it long and never purchased a second one.

    Before we all had cell phones a friend of mine would never take his POS Jag for a ride unless he could find somebody to follow him.

    If you still want one, there are always lots of British sports cars for sale on ebay.

    I think Boston Whaler summed it up pretty good. These little British sports cars look great in the driveway but they don't usually make it to far from home without a towing truck getting involved. Most of them have the undercarriage rust out before they get very old. If anything, I would consider the newer Jags. They are much more reliable than the older ones and are less prone to rusting.

    i didn't ask you for advice,nor would i ever-that would be a very cold day in hell...last time i checked,i'm more than qualified to make repairs and diagnose problems with vehicles...would you like for me to write my background ???
    i asked if anyone knew anyone selling one of the vehicles i mentioned...now,common sense would tell me,if i didn't have an answer to the question i asked,i wouldn't reply to it...makes sense huh ??? i gotta problem with you,and i really don't know you,nor do i wish to,but i know i don't want your advice,nor do i need it...in other words..."F" off...

    Hey Jimmy.

    my neighbor is just about going to finish restoring his
    1962 Jaguar E-Type XKE, he knows quiet few guys with this
    kind of car,if you want I can ask him if he knows where you can
    find one of those for sale,let me know.
