    Looking for a lab pup

I've been hinting around that we might want to get a new pup to keep the aging gun-shy golden company as she enters her later years hoping to get a dog that my son and I can hunt with. The admiral is now taking the lead in helping locate the perfect hunting pup. Gotta love subtle manipulation.

If anyone knows someone that might know someone that can help locate a lab pup that would be fit the bill we would appreciate it. We are just north of Baltimore and looking for a black lab female pup that would make a good family/hunting dog. Any help would be appreciated.

Bought a Black Pup back in Oct. He is almost 6 months old and would not trade him for the world. The couple that I bought him from had a beautiful female and the Father of the dog was from shannondoahkennels.com. The couple lives in Granite Md, It is in Baltimore county just off rt 70. I am not sure if they have any dogs left but they might be worth calling. The dogs were 600$. I live in Catonsville and if you want to see my dog give me a shout. Good Luck

Great response! I showed Lynda Blue Ridge Retreivers and she loved what they had to offer. I turn around and I get even more advice and leads. What a great site! Keep it coming - the more the merrier.

I'll vouch for Sushihunter's dog. Torro is a great dog- good with kids, other dogs, crowds, etc and loves the boat too. Doug just needs to train him to cut chum and he'd be perfect . If NH isn't too far away it's worth taking a look.

Do yourself a favor, train Marlin to NOT associate a screamin drag with a fish.
If you do not hold onto Toro when that drags a goin' he's over the gunnel. He flips when he hears a drag.......................
