Looking for a lab pup

Thanks so much Kim. I thank my lucky stars every day that I have such a wonderful wife. To do everything that she does and still put up with me is quite a lot to ask for.

The whole gang is very excited about getting a new pup. It was the entire conversation at the dinner table last night. Just think - tomorrow might be the last day I go duck hunting without a dog...

The lady has some great dogs. I know one thing......tommorow is the last day for ducks for me without a black lab male at my side. I cannot wait for a new pup.

I think you'll find an Allis girl to be loving (I warned your wife about the kissing!), easily trained, and able to turn on and off the go. Her babies always give 110%.
I even had a fellow to tell me that his girl, an Allis puppy, held his twin girls off from a copperhead in their yard. He was certain it would not have worked out so well had she not have been there. I can't say enough good about her and the pups she produces...
I can guarantee you there won't be any lost birds either!

southfork may have a litter ready once his girl breeds (Maggie turned out great for JMS). If I cannot get one from him in time (no later than May) I have my eyes on a litter that may be ready by May or a lil before down in West Monroe LA at Mouth of Cypress Road. If no pup by May, I will have to wait until next spring to keep them on the training/hunting path that Gus was on.

I actually talked to David yesterday about some of the breeding/sire choices he's looking at... He's got a really nice female and he's working hard to find the right pairing so I'm sure you'll be happy with the puppy. Whew, LA! That's quite a trip. Just see something particular you were interested in there?

LA momma and dad .....same bloodlines as Gus almost to a "T" but no line breeding anywhere in the pedigree. Owned by one Mr Phillips and Mr Robertson.

Miss Magnolia turns 2 on monday. those VA mountain dogs take to the saltwater quite readily .
