    Looking for a Lab

    Hey guys and gals,

Christmas is nearing and the GF has been "hounding" me for a puppy for quite some time now. I'm ready to bite the bullet and find her a lab puppy. Not really sure what type I want, prob not a golden because of the longer hair and I don't want that to mess up her allergies. Anyone know of a good breeder?! Kinda leaning towards the chocolates. Thanks for everyone's inputs and suggestions.

    Tight Lines!!

    Duane

The next bite on a jig.
I love my English Setters (Bird/Squirrel/Turkey dogs), but they shed terribly. They are the best dogs I have ever had though, and I have had a bunch over the years.

This morning the big one would not touch his food dish until he was released. He was just sitting there, Bless his heart.

I've got access to some male chocolates that should be 7 weeks right about Christmas. Puppies are in Sanford NC and are off my male black master hunter. PM me for more info if you'd like

    Both parents are clear

I have allways been fond of Chesapeake Bay Retrievers. Cute puppy for her and when he/she is grown, its a nice horse to play around with. Fun dogs!

Chessies are great dogs in the marsh, but if you are not going to hunt it I would stick with a lab. Also, keep in mind that a yellow lab and a golden retriver are two different breeds and yellow labs have the same hair length as chocolates and blacks.
