Looking Back at 2006

This year is almost over and a new one is about to start. Is there anything that has happened to you this year that you will always remember. That catch you always dreamed about? New Job Promotion? A person that has come into your life when you least expected it? A birth? Someone you admire and have never told them.

I found out in July that I am going to be a Grandpa in April.
My daughter found out in November it's gonna be a boy.

yes 2006 has memories

1. found SFC
2. fished with Deep
3. Signed up for rigging school with the man, da box man
4. Daughter got into perkiomen prep, and has a 4.0 avg
5. Sworn in as township supervisor, and trying to make a difference.
6. BIGGEST though is i found alot of new friends here, and that is something to cherish.

Made alot of new friends through the forum and got to fish with (in order) Capt Brian Daley, Whitey, Wahoonbox, Key-Lime-Pie, Jbhockeyfan, Ocnslr, Cathod, Baywolf (and son), Bite Me, Capt D, Reelworldsportfishing, Anthony's Ark and Jakeg.

Caught (in order): Sword (at midnite on Jan 1 woohoo), atlantic sail, dolphin, wahoo, kingfish, pacific sail, roosterfish, tarpon, grouper, snapper, striper, mako, thresher, flounder, bluefin, white marlin, yellowfin, longfin, tile

I have met some unique members from this board. Fished with some. Great times with all. Price Less !!!

I now have confidence my better half can zing me 6' in the air on a tube behind the 232 CC I still creak and crack in the mornings just thinking about that

Caught my first fish using a rod and reel. And the 2nd, 3rd, 4th and 5th. I hope to catch a couple more in 2006

Nice subject Chesney!

I will remember this year as the one that I caught a 500#+ gbft on a stand up 50, took my first two trips to the NE canyons, and caught a 140#+ sailfish on my spinning rod in Mexico. Also, I found SFC and became hopelessly addicted to the site.
