Yes, I've heard a lot about the repeal of Don't Ask Don't Tell since Obama got into office.

As you no doubt know, a Federal Judge ruled last week that Don't Ask Don't Tell was unconstitutional and that judge, a Bush appointee by the way, ordered the Pentagon to stop enforcing it poste haste. Today I see that the Pentagon has complied and now you add some detail to that by saying that, although the Pentagon has said it'd comply it's warning gay service personnel to bide their time for the time being.

Seems prudent to me. The Obama Justice Department is concerned that the ruling will undermine morale right now (it's pretty bad already) and they might do something to throw a monkey wrench into the mix.

Were I advising the troops I'd also advise them to let the other shoe fall first before coming out. That way they'd be in less jeopardy.

I say , who cares if soemone in the military is gay. They want to serve our country and help keep us all safe ? Kudos to them !! In fact , I would even jump in that fox hole and give them facial myself just for keeping my ass safe.
