For me I have to say 49 hours.
For me I have to say 49 hours.
I hope you are joking.
58 hours on the boat.
I did a 3 day trip one time. Left at 5:00am tolled in the day and chunked at night Day 1. Day two chunked till the bite stopped at 11:00am, trolled the rest of the day light. Chunked in the night and trolled home on the 3rd day. Funny thing was we left them biting but we were so tired we didn't care. That shower and bed never felt so good.
Fish total
38 albacore
12 yellow fin
1 mako
1 white marlin.
3-6 on swords. (all very small fish)
out of Captain Elliots in Freeport, Tx. We fished ten day "openers" the first ten days of every month from Feb. to March I think it was those 2 years. Three guys go out and catch 2000lbs as many times as you can in ten days. We would leave a day before the start and grouper fish deepwater rigs. When it opened we were already out there anchored on our best wreck. I really don't remember sleeping hardly at all. By the time you got through gutting and icing them down, then rebaiting, it was time to droppemThis goes on till you reach 2000lbs. Then you haul ass back 60 miles or so and unload. Time to hit the ice plant and get back out there. This same scenario plays out for ten days
You sleep in shifts on the way in and out but it aint that far and about the time I would fall asleep it would be my turn to drive

48 hours on a 305 Albemarle. Started losing my mind around 36 hours.
Its all about how small the boat is. I could do a multi day trip on a 60' boat. Do a multi-day trip on a 30' express and see how that feels.
28 days on a swordboat, minimal sleep, maybe 72 hours straight between naps once or twice.
I started when I was 5 and haven't quit yet!
109 days straight in '84...
I do 30-35 straight on my Albemarle in the islands most every year... Looks like we'll be doing 75 on the Viking...
Used to work straight through on a party boat when I was a kid... Friday 5PM- Sunday 7PM ...
Recently I did about 30 on a 27' Contender and I was toast by the time we hit the dock...
30 hours straight in a fresh water Striper tournament. From start to finish.
