As long as i can put my feet on dry land for a few hours, i am good. I have no clue how guys like Deep do what they do. I ran that boat for those 48 hours.

I pointed her towards the inlet and was so tired i started hallucinating. Saw things in the water that weren't there, started falling asleep with my eyes open, bad...

I know the feeling, you really do start seeing things. Leave the dock at 5am... troll all day... chunk all night... troll all day.... run back to the barn.

The crew sleeps the whole way home and doesn't understand why your so tired and grumpy...

To answer the question of the thread.... 53 hours

38 days on a longliner when i was 18 quickly followed by a 35 day trip on a one day turn around(not fun) and several months on a pelagic super seiner! plus quite a few back to back trips while working deck on a west coast long range boat but they are quite easy! I don't have the attention span anymore to hold a rod for more than two hrs.

Its all about how small the boat is. I could do a multi day trip on a 60' boat. Do a multi-day trip on a 30' express and see how that feels.
Childs play! I have to know how many protein shakes you downed on your 48hr tour?

39 hours on a tuna trolling and night chunking trip. That was a great trip and would do it again in a heartbeat!!
