Loading Up Again

The fever is in full swing. Rigs I tied in the winter and retied in the spring have been sharpened and packed away. New lures I have tested are hand tuned and dialed in to the task. So I could resist the temptation to use before game time, my 9 tld 25's, 7 50lrs and 3 80w A-Team rods were put away up north on my mako run... Their drags sweet and good to go. Last minute ditties all gathered in one place. My sleepiing bag and pillow are ready to soften the decks I will call my beds for the next several weeks.
Cases of soda and emergency road food are at the ready. Instant coffee? Check! PBJ? Check!
Oil changed and tires rotated the rolling tackle box awaits this next 4000 mile round trip. Ready for the challenge she rests quietly.
My mind spins. Lists are checked and rechecked... Its closing in on time to rock the north again... Marlin blood running through my veins I think of nothing else... I've got one more local run to do, a blinks worth of restless sleep and then take my game up 1200 miles of asphalt...
This year I'm on a mission. They say you can;'t win em all. I'm out to prove em wrong...

Hey Deep, looking forward to having you back in the Garden State! Even better, back in Cape May in a few weeks! Talked to one of your teammates yesterday for BeachHaven and he's excited to fish w/you. Should be some great video coverage and pics coming from your team!

I've heard the Beach Haven Invitational is an awesome event and we're sorry that we can't be there but Stone Harbor is the same weekend
