I know it wears me out cause cant ever sleep the night before.....I think one of the reasons I love this sport so much is there is nothing like watching the sun come up as you are headed offshore with those expectations. Got the hot coffee, baits being rigged, and getting ready to battle!! there is just something about that. Lines in and hearing the clips snap!! then its on!!! then another clip pops. One rod being passed under the other....the organized chaos as the leader man does his job and its time to sink the steel. Over the side and smacking around on the deck!! the high 5's and sweat!! Yep...I love this sport!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    1. The butterflies that rumble in my belly from the time I wake up until the boat is in the water not knowing what to expect.
    2. Sunrises
    3. Have as many blood stained shirts as I do good ones.
    4. The sight of the fish for the first time up close as it comes up from the depths or you finally get it alongside the boat.
    5. The friends that I've made through the years.
    6. Getting people that have never fished before beg me to take them again, even if we caught no fish.
    7. Teaching my buddy that fishes with me all the time everything that I can think of about the sport, and he doesn't mind being told 100 times how to set the hook.
