I got a few, not that many, my gun of choice is my S&W 44 8.38"...no sense in having to shoot twice at a buck a bullet...

True.

My home defense weapon of choice would have to be my Glock G22 .40 cal.

Hot enough to stop an intruder, but not too hot that it goes through and then hits a family member.

Glock is a nice weapon, I have a Sig 9mm if I'm worried about family members or neighbors.......years ago when we were first married we had a Brittany Spaniel, some clown was trying to get the dog in the car, when my wife contronted the guy, he wanted to see "our papers" cause he supposedly had some. My wife took the Remington 1100 off the rack, and asked "is this good enough for you"....never seen the fella again....

Yes, go get a lower RIGHT now. They are going to be banned again soon.

At least then you can build the gun once the law passes.

A lower is about $200

Let me tell you..........nothing gets ones attention in the dark like the sound of a pump shotgun being racked. That sound is universal and theres no better choice for home defense boys. With buckshot you can miss the wad and still get him through a wall or a door. Not to mention the sound of the round going off. I was Law Enforcement 7 years, I'll take the shotgun over any weapon in close quarters.

Oh hell yeah. Have two mossberg 590's. One is the mariner with marinecote and the other is an all black LE slug gun.
