Sit down Shut up And fish
we put momoi blue on last year and it worked really well... we respooled all of our 50s with it

If you want to be IGFA legal go with Suffix, if not I use and really like Momoi Diamond. Like the blue, but it does not matter what color if you use a leader. If the reels are 50Ws (wides) go with 80lb if standard width go with 50lb. The Diamond 50lb breaks WAY over 50lb so you can winch the drag pretty good.

Have you or does anyone else use braid on game reels to get more capacity?

Trolling and chunking = clear. What do you mean THIS YEAR? Don't miss out on a golden opportunity due to a tackle failure. Change your line every year. Don't forget to rerig your spreader bars and lures as well. It is a major misconception that these things are rigged for a lifetime of use. Inspect the leaders and rerig as needed.

Sit down Shut up And fish
I fish all 80lb, I've fished 60lb before on my offshore gear, but lost some bigeyes on it and that was the last time any reel will ever see 60lb line. We fish 80 on our 30's and 50's. I also use hollowcore, it lasts a lot longer and in the long run can be cheaper if you only replace the top shot. It also gives you more line capacity. I use momoi 80lb smoked blue. Have not noticed a huge differnce between clear and smoked blue when the bite was on, on slower days smoked may be slightly better but I think using a flouro leader is more of a concern. If anything, I've had better luck on HiVis yellow, go figure.
I also second checking your lines and leaders. Every one of my leaders are checked before hitting the water, and checked after every fish. I also check my main line on my rods, I usually go in the street and pull off 1/3 of the line with one guy pulling and the guy holding the rod checking for frays. If I feel anything I do not like, I either cut a short section off, or will reline the reel once the capacity gets to low. Mono on reels should be changed out just about every season. I made 6 trips offshore this season which is not what I wanted, was hoping for more, but all my line will be switched out before I make it back to the ledge. I've switched my setups to hollowcore backing and roughly 120-200yard top shots. The top shots get replaced as needed, or yearly and the hollowcore is checked. The hollowcore will be cut if it is nicked and spliced back together, saving money in the long run.

I use smoke blue on my reels. I was using all mono, but am now switching my heavier gear over to braid w/ top shots. My arm gets tired cranking new line on those big reels, changing a topshot is much better (especially if needed to be done between fishing days).
I loaded up a pair of 130's with some new Momoi Diamond hollow braid spectra, with Diamond mono top shots, at Joe Shute's a couple weeks ago. That stuff is great! My 80's & 50's are next, but I'm gonna keep the 30's and dinks as all mono.
I like the Sufix smoke blue, but the diamond is pretty good, too.

Crab mustard is good
if you are using suffix, go with the hi-vis yellow. otherwise, go with blue.
