liferafts.....got-em?

I am thinking of getting a liferaft for the boat for when we venture deep. I got an epirb and six stearns off-shore vests, icom504 with gps distress. I don't think I need to go as much as a $4000 Givens, but would like a worthy 4-man raft. Any thoughts and/or experience will be appreciated. TODD

Get the best one you can afford. Just remember the Chief. I personally have an eight person hard cased one that is CG approved. I paid 2500.00 for it , you can probably buy a used rental raft for a fraction of the cost of a new one. Plus the Boat shows are gearing up and everyone has a deal.

Assuming you have a good EPIRB system (built in GPS!), etc.....if you want a GOOD quality 4-man raft, check this one out. Very impressive quality, and you can't beat the brand!

I have an 8-man RFD Revere Offshore Surviva. Had it repacked at LRSE with additional water, food and safety items last year. Wouldn't leave the dock without it!
