perhaps you mean spittle is the noun to which dribbling referrs. I just can't find dribble as a noun no matter what source I search.

Here's a sentence in which spittle is used, mostly by the Brits. "Bush's war crimes accomplices, Yoo, Bybee, Rice, Cheney and Rumsfeld were perfect lick-spittles to his megalomaniacle character.

How's that? I don't want to quibble about dribble, but rather, lets' quibble now about spittle. OK?

Oh, I guess I should just ask, huh? Can you please provide a reputable source where the word dribble is a noun. And, please don't quote Marvel Comics, OK? Some here wouldn't endorse the use of a Marvel Comics script as a reputable source and I'd not want you to look foolish.
