Ok I left New Jersey last wed for the show in Florida. Pulled into the parking lot around 3 pm on Thursday. Picked up the Phone and Jeff from Salt Shaker boats and the Boat Ramp Boys came out front to meet me. Hung out with Jeff for a while talking and getting to know each other. After awhile I started to walk around the convention center floor and saw the hydra sports section. Walked over and saw Chris Wainscott from the factory and had a great talk about the boats. Tells me that we should be seeing a 40’ center coming next fall J I may have to hold out for this with quads J
Decided to call it a day and went to the hotel to get a good night sleep. Woke up around 6 am and went down to Bahia Mar and oh my god what a seen. Boats, boats, boats, and tents set up with vendors every where. Hung around the truck and worked on the computer for a couple hours till the show opened at 10 am. While I was sitting there board member “Purple cedar plug “Walked up to the truck to say hello.
Would also like to that DeepC and Mini Deep and friend Kat Fish for spending there whole day passing out stickers and shaking hands of people at the show. We walked most of Bahia Mar for 2 days and I don’t think I went to all the tents and areas of the show.
Pictures, I did not take many pictures this show as the way things were set up it was hard to get shots. This show was different then what I was used to as there was a lot of pleasure boats and boats over 100 foot. Even some of the big companies who make nice sportfishermans had there pleasure boats out and just a few sportfisherman models.
Oh ya on Sunday I had the pleasure of hang in out with all the guys from The boat Ramp boys and I have a feeling I may be in one of there upcoming shows, so keep a eye out for Bursman to post up in the inshore forum.
