Large email - Any suggestions

I am having a problem for the past day and half trying to retrieve my email. Someone sent me a large email in the size of 9.54MB which has had my email locked up and not being able to receive because this email is still downloading from the server

Is there a way to block or restrict the size of an email that someone sends me so this does not happen?

I am thinking someone is sending me pictures or something along those lines

Try logging on via the web. Usually starts with webmail.****.Com (not www) put in your loggin info, and delete it from there.

if you are using outlook....create another account using the same mail pop/login pass. call it something different than the original account.......make it default......restrict size to one meg.......log in. Another thought is, loging on to http://www.mail2web.com/
Enter email address and password. Every thing is not in Java script. You should be able to deleat it from there, or it won't let it on to the server as it is to large of a file...

If you are using outlook or outlook express try downloading the headers only. This brings only the subject line and some initial info. Then delete the message via the header or mark the ones you want to completely download and unmark the large file.

Another thought is, loging on to http://www.mail2web.com/
Enter email address and password. Every thing is not in Java script. You should be able to deleat it from there, or it won't let it on to the server as it is to large of a file...
