thats the end, just little tid bits here, .... alexa loved the trip, seoul she said is a beautiful city , very clean. Most of the 40 and under crowd speak very good english.

Food is on the spicy side, which she is ok with, though she hasn't taken to kimchee.

was a Navy Chaplain with the First Marine Air Wing in Korea in the early 1950's.

There were terrible casualties among the population leaving many orphans. Under his leadership the Marines established an orphanage that saved many children.

The US had about 50,000 men killed in that action. Was it worth it? Today that would be a hot issue. President Truman left office with a low approval rating partially due to an unpopular war. Today most are thankful for the sacrifice.

I spent about 6 months over there in 82-83, very cold. Much like here right now. The Koreans are a very proud people. Hope she had a great trip.
