Well that certainly is special...

There were guys busted in the glades for baiting gators with kittens and even those reprehensible pricks had the decency to just tie the kittens to cane poles and suspend above the water...

If I personally witnessed anything like what I just saw I'd break my vow of no physical hostility that I have held sacred for the last 25 years... Cat, bunny, puppy, I don't give a shit, I'd come unglued...

Unfortunatly its true, but the last time I heard of them using animals for bait it was a puppy with a treble hook rigged in it's snout. My friend is the one that sent me the picture and the info on the people and or place they were practicing this at. She's in greenpiece.Totally disgusting. Problably the same group that slaughter the porpoises each year.

I'm sure some idiots have used cats,puppies,etc. as bait somewhere and at some time, but that video has to be fake. The kitten is bridled with no hook in it and the video seems staged for PETA or something. That video just doesn't add up to me if you look at it.

I think they are baiting somebody, but not fish, with those kittens. I think it's fake.

For starters, what about a wet cat would attract a marlin? You can't tow em fast enough, they don't swim like fish, and they ain't shiny. If this would work, why not just fish with rats? that wouldnt piss anybody off...cheaper, easier to breed, etc.

And as for the cinematography...I am seeing fish out some distance from the boat, and on the boat,but I don't think I saw any pieces of cat, or cats swimming back in the wake,

And what sportsman could resist the shot of the fish with the cat remnants hanging out of it's mouth?

So, unless someone here actually saw someone catching fish with cats here...I am going to be mongo skeptical.

I don't know of kittens, but I do know a couple of guys that pulled a live raccoon as a teaser. At least it started out live.

That video doesn't look real to me. Looks like it was staged as someone earlier stated. But if it was real, then shame on the people that do it.
