what is a good artificial luer for catching king mackeral.

Blue Drone Spoon

3 1/2 Drone spoon spray painted black w/ green prism tape on a #3 old salty planer. Sounds weird,but it made me a lot of money comm. mackeral fishing.

pink drone spoon on a planer.

Never tried painting it black, but green or pink spoon on a #3 planer like said above is hard to beat. Green is always out.

well this thread is supposed to be about lures that work well. i havent got to try a new rapala x-rap magnum with the deep diving lip should def. kill them. im gonna try it in florida keys during x-mass over the reefs. ill get back to you guys if it works or not.

Blue Drone/silver flash or blue drone/pink flash behind #3. Never pulled black/green but I have heard from another commercial Mack man green is the heat. Good Luck. HOLWACHAGOT

Yo-Zuri Hydro Magnum in Blue Mackeral is a good one as well.

One of my favorites! I've torn up some yellowfin in the prop wash with that one.
