Mechanic Calls: Says Peninsualr has not got back with the pump timing specs.

Call local Pump Company to find their side: Peninsular wouldn't give them even telephone number of their pump people. They said some one would call.

Call Peninsular: Start at bottom and ream everyone involved with anything having to do with wet. Threaten to crawl through wires and strangle... They tell me they gave the number of their pump shop to the local pump shop.

Call local Pump people back: They gave names and specifics of Peninsular trying to keep propritary info to them selves.

Call Peninsular back: Really get hot! Get their pump company number.

Call their Pump people: Nice friendly professional... Gave me all kinds of info. Peninsular never even gave them a call.

Called my pump people and relayed info.
Pump should be done late morning, engine reassembled and in boat now Wednesday...

Would have been so much better off with Cummins...

Tell me about it... $4000 to rebuild twice but add $30,000 for lost charters and thats where it sucks... I can get the cummins right and as soon as i can fill a can of green I won't bother burying it.
I wish I wasn't self employed and had better credit. That decision would have been made back in September...

I'm gonna need to take up a new habit...

First thing this morning: Call Michigan pump company to verify info exchange. Nope. My local guys never called.

Next call: Tear my local guys a new onefor not calling.

Around noon: My mechanic says that Michigan Pump co does not have specs.waste of a couple hours!

I call Peninsular: They tell me they have the specs and will fax right over! Seems that they do calibration while on dyno. Why wasn't I told that a week ago?

Specs for non turbo wrong configuration sent... Again hours to notify me!

Call Peninsular again and crawl so far up ass that they can taste my hairspray... "Oh we didn't send specs. Michigan pump did"! ARRRRRRGGGGGGHHHHHH!

Call Michigan Pump they don't have specs!Peninsular does!!! Now my nuts are in a knot!!!! Tell them to dig up specs for 250hp and tweak mine to that from 230. I'll live with the extra ponies... Oh could have done that last week!
