man....that must have been one helluva pouding. 29 knots and a 55 gal drum. Glad you got yourself and crew back safely. I hit part of a telephone pole last year. well actually I wasnt driving....I was in the pit putting the baits out next to a weed line. I was bitchin about all the crap on the baits when I hear BANG! thud, thud....then this thing comes out from under the boat and shoots straight up in the air>> Im thinkin oh SH$T!! So I know the feeling lifting the hatch to see what kind of mess is in there....its not a good feeling!! no damage was dione other than a small scrap. couldnt believe it
