Hi there. I am from Breaux Bridge, Louisiana. I used to fish saltwater quite a bit and some offshore but pretty well stopped in 2000 when i took on a new job.
Well now I have switched jobs and work 14 and 14 offshore. So... I ended up buying an 1986 proline walk around cuddy with twin 250 yamahas. The boat is 28 foot with a 30" setback for the engines and has been completely refurbished not too long ago. The last boat I had was a 70s Thunderbird with twin mercruisers 170s. So this is definatly an upgrade for me. I bought the boat in December and have been making trips offshore in the Gulf of Mexico at least once a month ever since. I am trying to learn as much as possible from this site and have been reading pretty much every day learning as much as possible. If anybody needs a fishing partner with a boat, look me up.

Thanks for the welcomes. As far a what type of fishing I prefer, I am not quite sure what you mean. I definately prefer offshore over inshore. I guess I would have to say one of my favorite things is finding a good rip and sight casting on light tackle. I like trolling also, just have alot to learn though.
