Is it just me or is anyone else having problems setting an appointment for your TWIC.... I go to their website and follow the directions to pre enroll I get my password which has to be capital and small letters letters with numbers and at least one symbol... Then I get my Pre enrollment ID number ... and then I get the closest place to set my appointment..then when I go to set the appointment the screen keeps going back to my resident address to find the closest center.... I've checked all info three times to make sure everything is accurate and it still goes back to find the closest TWIC place, which is Chesapeake, 77 miles away.... I call the the number they give for help and its nothing but a recording. I know others that have made an appointment... BUT I'm getting really mad and I FEEL like cussing someone.......Now I understand there is a bill to do away with this BS...... so should I just wait and be illegal after the 28th of this month or just go there and camp out till they give me my card?

If i remeber correctly it should have a calender page come up and you can check off the date and time ?

Yep thanks... got to that page once before, when I wasn't ready to make an appointment, but I can't get there now....
Was surprised that I didn't have to choose which language to use for the phone message!!!!

I didn't think that the TWIC wen into effect untill apr of 09 now I belive it got extended. If you have to come to chesapeake go 10 more miles and we'll have a beer

Thanks for the offer Capt.... I may just do that...The info I see for NC is that we need it by the 28th of Nov.... Seems different areas have different dates? I guess since O inlet is such a high TERRORIST spot They (the Gov.) Should be more concerned about recreational boats than working boats.

I got yah I just got done with the pre enrolment crap and found your date and mine were diffrent. So after i get this hunk of plastic with the chip ...( chip and salt water BWAHAHAHA) then i got to pay lockheed martin more money. Hopefully this will make it so i don't have to go to MD to renew my LIC for finger prints. Gimee a call we'll hook up I just looked at the appt board online that ought to be fun trying to get in LOL
