just another day for Brunswick County sheriff ,carey west...

Got a letter from Brunswick County NC sheriff, Carey West. In it, he asks me to contact him regarding a civil matter..i call, he responds later in the day..the purpose of his letter is to inform me that a judgment against me for the amount of $1500, stemming from a citibank credit card i had years ago, never received correspondence from them,honestly forgot about it, Well 'ol Casey informs me the sheriffs department is pursuing seizing my boats to pay the judjment...Huh? Oh yea..seems citi hired a local lawyer ..filed..had hearing and won..I WAS NEVER INFORMED.. so now this douchbag wants to seize my property..no nogation..no nothing..seize..auction off and thankyouverymuch...SOB, I attempted to contact citi..noone knows nothin..Let me wrap my brain around this..banks cause economic crash..taxpayers bail out banks..banks use MY money to hire lawyer to seize my property? That about right? so i sold my boats to my mom for $25.00..regestering in her name tommorow..calling the sheriffs dept and informing Mr Casey to kiss my ass...$1500....really?

Kinda sum's it up for me. Had the same sorta thing happen to me a few year's back, with NMFS and their lawyer's. Oh yea, did I mention I paid their salary too! I think a fishin' trip is in order, before......... well you know! I seem to remember a guy on here that's got an attack pooch, a few .45's and mentioned something about a quad fifty. Want me to give hime a ring????

no i owe the money, and went right to citi to pay..cant do it, its been turned over to the sheriff....its not the money, its the lack of fair play, i never heard from ANYONE about this,until this happened.

How old is the debt? The statute of limitations in NC is 3 years for debt collections on open accounts.

Because Sam Houston, the Father of Texas, was a notrious scofflaw debtor who fled more civilized states to fight the Mexicans and erect a debtor's paradise here, we have just that.

You can get judgements all day long if you like. But if the guy on the other end of the judgement doesn't have anything against to place a lein you've just wasted your time. And, there seem to be thousands of ways to avoid even getting the lein.
