Stop and think about it. The financial news networks like CNBC have guys like Cramer and Larry Kudlow come out and gin up the game. Then when it falls apart they act like the weatherman when he predicts a sunny day and you get a rainout. Cramer was telling everyone to buy Bear Stearns at $69 then it fell apart. The network puts up a promo that says "in Cramer we trust."
How could they not know about credit swap derivatives and the 30+ leveraging that some off these brokerage houses were running. Instead of investigating and reporting they cheerleaded the thing all the way up and over the cliff, and no one will hold them responsabile because the whole bunch of them are in the game. You and I are not in the club though some of us don't quite get that yet. We are the dupes. The more we all go along with this with mega media companies owning the news and the cable networks the more we get fed the bull$hit.
You expect when you go into a casino that at least the game is fair. With Wall Street the game is corrupt. If you make an investment and it turns out that the company you invested in fails, well you lost and that is fair. What has happened here is fraud and should be prosecuted period! I can't believe that we continue to accept this fraud.
