I have a job opportunity working with a Coastal Engineering Firm conducting beach monitoring surveys on Brigantine Beach, New Jersey.

The position of survey swimmer is available. The position requires the applicant to swim with a survey rod from the beach, through the surf zone. Other job requirements include stake out, equipment maintenance and other minor miscelanious tasks. The job will be available starting September 5, 2006 and will run for approximately three weeks. There is the possibility of continued employment at the conclusion of the Brigantine job.
The applicant must be able to travel to the job site. The work will be seven days a week for the duration on the job. Pay, lodging, mileage and per diem to cover food are included. Pay rate for this job is between $12 and $15 per hour. Overtime will be time and a half.
