Jesse- I know it's a bit early in the season but you might want to try just washing boats down. There was a kid in our area who use to pull in 500-$700 a week for just washing boats. Figure a charter gets back from an offshore trip, which downthis way equals on the average 18 hours for a mate, including prep work and end of day clean-up,next day rigging and so on. In comes a reliable boat cleaner to help with the washdown, say $20 a pop, five or six boats a nite, five or six days a week. You do the math. It helps the boys on the dock get a few more minutes of needed sleep for crunch time, gets you cash, and gets you an in on the dock. If you need any advice, PM me and I'll let you know what this kid use to do. Mark

I find myself looking for a job right now ... do you think they would let me wash down their boats?
