Jimmy's a part of our life on and off the water. Usually have have the cd changer on the boat filled with at least a few Buffet CD's. We've sipped into Margaritavilles, in Orlando, Key West, New Orleans, Vegas and maybe a couple I can't remember. We've seen him in Dallas, Las Vegas, here in Philly with Off Duty, ... and then there was Florida with Off The Hook Bait and Tackle and LadyAngler...but best that we leave that story in the archives.

Being on the boat, and listening to Buffet just go together for us.

    With some of Forty Creek.

I like Jimmy. But I also like little known Larry Joe Taylor. If ya'll can find his 'Port A to Port B' CD, GET IT! 'Heart of the Matter' is another good CD of his.

I was fortuante enough as a young fellow to dabble in music at night when not fishing. I grew up in Jersey and became friends with a sax player who would go surf fishing with me after his band got done at the local sea shore bars... He was Clarence Clemmons of E- Street fame.
When I decided to turn up my fishing carreer to full time I lived in the keys and Mr. Jim would pop on in a few places from time to time... Have always been a fan and Pirate Looks at Forty plays over and over in my head drowning out my diesels... He's a great guy, Got a fantastic boat (and a piece of junk or two ), Has a very nice daughter my daughters age and little Cameron Marley who wore my ass out babysitting him at Harbor Island.

My wife cut my singing carreer short when we got married... Cant say I blame her. Music mostly slipped away from me but sometimes when I'm alone I'll pop some Buffet in the machine and let her rip...

Spent 5 1/2 years in Germany while my wife was stationed there, and his music got me through the dreary winters there. My German landlord still listens to the tapes I left him with when we relocated stateside. "Sunshine Music" was his description.
