I've got the Blues!

I've been fishing the Bluefsh for the past few weeks until the Stripers start for real and I gotta tell ya, it's been awesome! Last week they were ony hitting Gators. Today they were loving bunker backs. Great fun. Sandy hook was LOADED with big blues today. 10# blues were the norm and they were fierce fighters. They mangled my leaders on every catch and one swallowed my whole rig - he's filletted now and big fillets they are! (But I got my rig back. He's marinating now and can't chat but he'l be lunch on the grill tomorrow!

I know that you stirpier guys are serious business, but ya gotta love the blues!
