i had a customer call me,his complaint was "i have a few issues with my electrical system" ?? i asked him to explain what the problem was,he told me "no problem,i have a few issues,with things not working correctly on the bridge" ????
can someone explain this to me ??? please ??? man,i feel like a friggin' dinasaur,ya know...what the hell has this world turned into ?? all these friggin' mary boy phrases,"issues","bash","harsh" god almighty !!!

I agree with ya on the terminology thing.
To me, and this is just me, I would say a problem concerning a boat is - oh shit I have a problem and I cant use my boat.
An issue would be, oh shit this f***in thing isnt working right and I want to put my foot through it but i can still use my boat because if I keep wiggling this wire it will work.

Once the word "unacceptable" is tossed in a sentence with the word "issue"... then there's a "problem", so I don't know how much assistance I can lend towards the subject other than I use the word "issue" until it goes unresolved and becomes a real "problem".
