I'm still waiting for my reel

RANT: A couple days ago I went to the post office to pick up the 2 ear muffs (hearing protection) that I bought for my wife and a friend. I had to pay 60% import tax on them... and on the shipping also!

So 2 ear muffs at $26 each + $33.75 shipping (USPS Global Express Mail) = $85.75 x 60% = $51.45

Total for two ear muffs: $138.20

And do you know what is worse? My wife and our friend thought they were "too big" and prefered to buy the ones for sale at the shooting club at $77.50 ... now I'm stuck with 2 not cheap ear muffs. Will probably end up selling them for less than I paid.

Ok, now I feel a bit better.

Please God make my reel arrive so I can go kite fishing. I learned my lesson.

I received a notification from the post office that a package arrived for me and I need to go there, pay the tax and pick it up.

As soon as it arrived my wife and I went to the post office but got there 8 minutes too late, it was closed

I really hope it's my reel. The paper only says "fishing item", cost: $50, tax: $30, weight: 3 pounds and that it was shipped from the USA

Very weird... but if it's my reel and the tax is only $30 I'll be very happy!
