Info on living/working in costa rica needed!!!

My friend and I, both recent college grads, are considering moving to costa rica to work for the summer. I was wondering if anyone had any experience working/living in costa rica and if they could give me some advice as to the type of jobs available to xpats and where the best areas to live along the coast are. I have considerable boating experience and live to fish offshore. I was hoping to maybe work at a marina/resort or tour company of some sort. Any ideas? Of course I would love a job on a charter boat doing anything but i suspect my lack of rigging experience would prevent me from a mate job. If anyone could give me any sort of help i would be greatly appreciative.

You can not legally come to Costa Rica and work. So other than boat jobs there are no jobs. Your best bet is to just come down here and have a good time. Trust me, there isn't any work here. But the waves will be good in the summer and things are a bit cheaper. Just come on down and have fun. Stop by and see me when you get down.
