    Im pissed!!!

    Someone posted up the USCGs vessel name lookup on here so I checked for nauti duck which I have had on a boat forever and I recently sold the boat without the name. Some jacka$$ just registered it with the coast gaurd in on june 20. Is it legal to shoot him?

    The Nauti Duck documented with USCG shows no previous owners or names.

    Documenting a name with the USCG does not mean that name belongs to you. You will find many vessel names documented that are identical for two or more boats, but they usually have different home ports.

    That just shows currently registered vessels though does it not? The name doesnt bother me as much as would the avatar which I had blown up and on the side of my boat.
