If I read what I wrote before posting, I tend to start editing it. And then if I read what I edited, I tend to edit that. There is always a more concise or better way to say it. So I keep editing...and the post keeps getting shorter... And this continues to the point where I realize I actually did not have anything pertinent, intelligent, or interesting to say in the first place. So I don't bother posting it.

In other words....if you don't see a post from me on a subject, it's because I started editing it.
