I really don't know the area, but Glenn W and a group of us were supposed to go to BT's (BEACH TAVERN) in Atlantic Beach and never made it, but I've heard good things about the place.
Try the Beaufort Grocery for lunch or dinner. No Name pizza also does a good job. Clawsen's - good. There is a place on the water with the word "whale" in it that is also good.
Try the spouter inn in beaufort. the owner is a fisherman and you won't be dissapointed.
Hey Blackwell. The Bite Me should be sea worthy by this time tomorrow. I'll be up that way a time or two this weekend. Maybe we can wet a line.
Want a good meal? Go to Key West on the waterfront in MHC. Ask for Dan, the owner. Tell him that Lou from Wilmington sent ya. One of two things will happen. He will either throw you out or make you a great meal. Either way their food is great. There is another place right around the corner call Wraps that is pretty good and plenty of places within walking distance for a cocktail if you are so inclined.
My boat is at the MHC Yacht Basin, D dock. Stop by or give me a call.
