Idea Contest squirrels

I sunk a 2" steel pipe in 2 ' concrete, leaving 6' above ground,placed 3" grey PVC pipe over steel pipe, greased PVC w/ Lucas stickey red, placed birdfeeder on top, on top of feeder 12" dia. chimney top..also greased. Squirells gave it a shot..then gave up. The problem with "free hanging" feeders is the squirells will shake the feeder,get the nuts on the ground,and repeat...all...day...long.

IT IS VERY EASY, BUY A PIECE OF GALVANIZE PIPE (WON'T RUST) (OR PAINT IT TO THE COLOR YOU WOULD WANT) TO THE LENGTH YOU NEED TO GO BETWEEN TWO TREES DRILL A HOLE IN THE MIDDLE OF THE PIPE FOR THE DOWN WIRE TO THE FEEDER THEN JUST RUN A ROPE THROUGH THE PIPE AND TIE OFF TO THE TREES, TIE YOUR DOWN WIRE TO THE ROPE IN THE PIPE AND PULL THROUGH THE HOLE, MAKE THE HOLE GOOD AND WIDE SO THE PIPE WILL SPIN SOMEWHAT THE SQUIRREL WILL SLIP OFF THE PIPE EACH TIME THEY TRY TO CLIMB ON IT.


TOTAL COST UNDER TEN (10) DOLLARS.

So I have been wanting to mess with the squirrels ever since admin put this up.....thread about them.....I have a blond squirrel that I have been putting off just killing becausde its cool....man I must be gettng soft lol.


So the squirrels have been VERY scarce lately, now I know why....I have a Ferrel kitty on my hands and as much as I would like to give it the 30 ot 6 treatment like Mikey....the neighbors would have the local fuzz here before the shell hit the ground......so one can of tuna and a box trap...the hunt is on so I can have fun ****!in with the squirrels......a hint it involves a rod and reel....now what the hell I am going to do with it once I come tight....I have not figured that part out yet....but just like the bar...I am hunting blonds again

The kitty is the second pic between the second fence post and the rose bush....crouched down and begging for a muzzy in the pie hole....I must be getting soft lol
