My son has got the horse riding bug bad. The wife is big into it and my son has followed at least until the marlin started biting. So he is actually getting good at this eventing stuff. That's 3 categories wrapped in one, dressage, stadium jumping and cross country. He moved up in levels and this was his first show at the higher level. The two big differences are the more difficult dressage test and the harder cross country course. He nailed the dressage test. And had a great cross country

But when it came to the stadium jump he ran into an issue on the very last jump. well he had no issue. He cleared the jump, but the horse.......................well................

Once we accounted for are limbs and vital signs we all got a good laugh. But if it were me, I would stick to fishing

That chit is dangerous! They are all worried about me getting stuck by a billfish or whatever...and they have friends(more than 1) who are freakin braindead or had their faces smashed beyond recognition from getting kicked by their loving ponys or whatever. I am not going to exagerate...I have no problem jumping on a 500lb mako, but one of those hot blooded bersoko mares they have and love, you could not pay me enough. My mom and sis are badass with those things...make them do things by voice I am astounded by. Mom took a semi retarded girl from being so embarrassed by herself or being around whoever to a national champion and an article in the horse gazette or whatever its called. Me and dad go and get the 300 bales of hay a month and build all the barns and stalls and they don't ***** when we go fishing or hunting too much. I will say he must love my mother, because me as well as any other sane man would have divorced her years ago...

Once you get the horse riding bug it's hard to shake, but I can say that I feel the same way about the 'fishing bug' b/c I've got it bad...dang Squid

Glad to see everyone is in once piece and ready for the next time!
