So I'd have to say it ain't over yet. If all we do is complain that this site isn't what it used to be, then I guess we'll get what we ask for. I for one came to this site not knowing a think about the inter-net (still don't), just happened on to it I guess. Liked what I saw, gave it some time to figure out what I was getting into and then offered help in what way I could with mechanical advice. Guess I was trying to be part of the "hood" so to speak. One thing I must say is that this site has provided me an opporunity to make and meet new "friend's", several fish with me now and other's I see face to face often.
I truely believe that we "reap what we sow", if we sow sour grapes, you know the rest. I do wonder what is going on myself, but am not ready to give up the ship. There have been many that have moved on, but I also see new members showing up. So there still is breath left. Do your part and participate, get off the sidelines. We all have a story. I too, use this site for great tips and excellent reports,as for MIU,well...thats just drama..and i get plenty of that crap monday - friday 8-5, at times its funny..real funny.but overall i have my share of crap slinging at work,so cant say i'm missing it. Folks just like things there way,sometimes that aint gonna happen,jer and the rest of admin started this site to make money..plain and simple,so if culling is needed to max profit..can you blame them>

Are you serious. The fact that I've been able to say the things I've said in the last week shows that the Fat Lady has sung. I've put up multiple posting about a saltwatersporstman mag's forum and they didn't get deleted my Mary. Have you looked at what my profile says. Are you serious. You really think that Jon or Mary or Jer are still looking at this ****. We're just a couple guys sitting in a Bar that closed 2 hours ago and still expecting to get served drinks. It’s done. Doors closed. If you're advertising on here you're fucked. Take your money like SJMarina and Jburn and the rest of them and go find somewhere else to put it. Try Yodle.com they'll advertise for you and they specialize in the small to medium sized business owner.

Threats and mob behavior.

If that's what you miss, then it says a lot more about you than about the people who ultimately put a stop to it.

I'm very glad it's gone. There was never any justification for it whatsoever.

That behavior was bruttish, vindictive, gang-inspired, militant, racist, often dangerously criminal in intent, absolutely un-American and way over the top for a fishing site. No one who participated in any of that mob behavior simply because someone disagreed with them should feel proud of having done so in any way whatsoever.
