you should also... I did this after just hearing about it from a black bahamian friend that for kicks and giggles went to mr wrights church service to see if the guy was really as crazy as people say he is. very disturbing!

I don't know that for sure, haven't seen him in that situation with the flag. I know his latest add's here in NC stress his "deep abiding love for this country" and "his being raised with Kanas morals" all of a sudden. I guess that is my biggest grief, I hear so much and don't know what is truth or simple scuttl-butt. Many claim he is muslem, I really don't know. He said he is not, but with his stand on abortion and gay marrage, it's hard for me to believe he is Christian either. As I said in an earlier post, the problem I personally have with this guy is that there is so much un-known with him. Kinda worries me that we would choose to elect a "may-be"

just so wierd both ways seems he stands for one thing then stands for another. just hope we all make the right choices because the time to vote is coming near. This is a great country and I hope like anything that it stays that way! Just want to be informed as much as I can. also so many ads go both ways, seems like we should throw some news people out the back of the boat for bad reporting just to pad one side or the other.

Cat Quest, with what you said about him being seamingly on both side of the issues, makes him sound like a politician. I'd like to see a true leader ,not someone that knows the "game". I think we are heading for some serious hard times ahead in the very near future. Look at how fast things have deteriorated in the last 6 months as a whole, for all of us regular guy's, it'll be no "game". We're gonna have alot on the line. As for as the media goes, that kind of blends in with what I posted yesterday on one of your threads. Bias, bias, bias. I want the facts, thats all. Isn't that what the media is supposed to be after. Tell the truth always, let the chips fall where they may. Opinion's are for a forum like this, not National Coverage in prime time.

he does place his hand over his heart but there is a photo where he wasnt for whatever reason placing his hand over his ehart during the national Anthem. he normally does py the Anthem proper respect but in this one photo he wasnt. Then emails about it started flying.

I would worry more about his raising taxes (especially his proposal to raise GAS taxes), lack of experience, lack of military knowledge, stance on IRAQ, and liberal voting record, and his statements that it is ok for a city to outlaw guns (Washington DC) and the people whom he would choose to be Supreme Court Judges.

Just my .02, i went to go fishing today and the trailer got a flat, grrrrr got it changed out but by then it was to late as bad weather was moving in so we returned the boat home and went to lunch at Hooters.

I have a great charter trip scheduled for next week. Can't wait!!

Plain and simple:

For YEARS (generations), the RedSox sucked. Period. Oh, they had numerous "baseball" guys in and out of leadership rolls both in the dugout and in the front office... but, no matter what, they sucked.

Then, NEW OWNERSHIP (outside of baseball), put into place NEW MANAGEMENT (no baseball experience)... and they have won (yea, twice... I know).

Just a great example of what it takes to return a "business" or "nation" back into a champion.

Personally, I think we need to quit with the same crap of left and right (two bowls of $hit, just one has the runs), and put someone in that knows the "game" these idiots keep playing and says "No More".

Me, I'll give Bob Barr a chance before I hand MY keys over to McCain (sorry, but the dude has a hard time with something as simple as speaking)... and NEVER would I give the keys to Obamalamadingdong.

plenty of symbols in this country that equate to nothing more than flag waving. now me, i believe take your hat off, stand up straight, and be proud of this country. i really dont care if he puts his hand over it or not im really more interested in , whats in his heart. i dont think anyone really knows yet. plenty of people trying to explain who he is, but i dont think people have a grasp of who he is yet. throw his wife and her statements into the mix and your left wondering who he is. then when his hand isnt over his heart.........away we go. as an example i have to admit i dont like religion. and if you judged me by what i sing in church well, your gonna think im the devil. i cant stand that song amazing grace, and would rather die than sing those words. but thats not really an example of who i am. ive seen plenty of rats sing that to the heavens. doesnt make them good people either. flag waving doesnt define who he is but, i think he needs to start letting some more people know who he really is. if he wants to be president however, just like a priest has to, he better start singing!

Well, yes, Flag waving does not define who you really are, but, disrespect for the flag and it's symbolism does.
